The World football governing body popularly known as FIFA has reacted after Liberia President George Weah came to celebrate his son Timothy Weah for guiding USA national team to the round of 16 of the FIFA World Cup in Qatar, following their impressive 1-0 victory over Iran national team in their Matchday 3 of the ongoing FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

George Weah has been showing his full support for his son and United States of America national team since the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar started, and he was excited when his son scored his first ever World Cup goal for United States of America national team against Wales national team last week.

Timothy Weah was born by Liberian father and he decided to represent United States of America national team, and he has been performing excellently for the country since then.

Weah was given another starting role in United States of America national team's attack by his coach alongside Christian Pulisic and Joshua Sargent and the trio were superb in the game.

A first half goal from Chelsea football club star Christian Pulisic gave United States of America national team a hard-fought victory over their opponent, and that has helped them to qualify for the next round of the competition.
