Shade Okoya leaves admirers guessing with ‘ageless’ beauty

If there is one thing that is not in doubt, it is the fact that socialite and businesswoman, Shade Okoya, is a pretty lady. The wife of the Aare of Lagos, Rasaq Okoya, is also very fashionable, constantly leaving fans and critics alike in awe of her looks.

For those who think that pretty women, especially those who are married to wealthy men, are not brainy, they only need to observe Shade to change their minds. She is not only beautiful, she is also business savvy and plays a prominent role in her husband’s business, Eleganza Group of Companies, where she is the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer.

Another reason many admire Shade is for her ageless looks. The 43-year-old mother of four looks way younger than she is and over the years, she does not seem to have aged much.

For those who may not have the opportunity to meet the trendsetter in person, social media has made things easier as they can interact with her on social media, especially on Instagram where she posts pictures of herself and family members, and motivational quotes.

During the week, the Eleganza CEO gave her admirers and social media followers an ‘assignment’ when she posted a picture on Instagram and asked them to guess what year the picture was taken. She added the caption, “Time is the most valuable thing a man can spend. The key is in not spending time but in investing it. Can you guess how many years ago this picture was taken?”

Of course, many of her followers took up the challenge, with some saying it was difficult to know the right answer because not much had changed about her looks over the years.

A follower, Adejoke Rachael, wrote, “How can one know mama. You age backwards.” Another person, Gloria Agbambu added, “I cannot say but notwithstanding the time factor, you are still elegant.”

Ayemobola Charles simply wrote, “(You are) always beautiful.” Ola Jumoke added, “(The) picture (is) like what TY Bello took one day ago. Aging has got nothing on you.”

On her part, Anyaeji Amaka wrote, “Ageless beauty.” Big Bedeo added, “African beauty, you are a gift to your nation, the continent, the world and everyone you are connected to. You keep motivating us ma.”

Ariyo Sade wrote, “I cannot guess because you don’t age. (You are) still looking the same.”

As of the time of filing this report, the post had attracted 3,897 likes and 111 comments but the fashionista had yet to reveal when the picture was actually taken.
