Gunmen kill two farmers in Nasarawa

 Fear has gripped Kardoroko community in the Keana Local Government Area of Nasarawa as gunmen believed to be Fulani herders have killed two Tiv farmers in the
area.
It was gathered that victims’ lifeless bodies were discovered with bullets wounds and machete cuts by a search party after they didn’t return home from the farm on Wednesday.

The Police Public Relations Officer, Nasarawa state command, ASP Ramhan Nansel, who confirmed the incident on Thursday, added that combined security teams had been drafted to Kadarko and its environs “to avert any reprisal.”

A source, who didn’t want his name mentioned, alleged that the victims were invaded by some people believed to be Fulani herders in Icenyam village of Kadarko Chiefdom.
